This is nice hostel! Location is wonderful and staff is very helpful. I really thanks for that! If i return in Moscow with my friends i would like to stay here!

I used to work at the hostel for about two years and still this is my favorite job. I remember warm days in cold winter with our guests, going out with them to the the night and showing them around. With lots of them we became friends and still communicate. One new year a nice spontaneous company of travelers was organized and then it became a tradition to meet all together on the 31st of december in HM. People came from different parts of the world! And our fantastic staff… First HM is people. That i miss most of all. But a great location and atmosphere – too. Thank you, HM! You are always in my heart.
I had a great time in the hostel. It is very conofrtable that it is right in the center of Moscow, makes sightseeg much easier. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful and THEY SPEAK ENGLISH!!! : ) (I just mention it because communication was often a problem for me in Russia.)If I come back to the Russian capital I will definitely stay at HM Hostel Moscow.

I want to say hello from some former stuff =) I used to work at HM in 2009, I miss it so much!
I was a “resident” at the Hotel Moscow for about a year (if not more) until I found my own flat. (it takes time when you work). I liked the infrastructure , the friendship that developed during that time between the staff and me. I also made some new friends among the guests, who were coming from all places in the world.
Hotel Moscow is a world crossroad between the East and the West where you can meet all cultures, all destinations, in just about 100 square meters.
Situated in the middle of the city as well, it is really convenient for people coming to visit the city itself and enjoy the nightlife.
The best Hostel I have ever been to! Welcoming, warm etmosphere. Friendly staff (ребята, вы просто молодцы!) In Winter, HM is like a warm, cosy home

HM is my second home! These two times that i stayed here was my best time in Moscow. Every night i came after the classes of russian and felt myself in a big family. All the time so nice people are staying here. The staff is great and helpful too. I will never forget ravioli of Nicolas and vodka with smetana of Andrei. Thank you for everything! Waiting to come back soon!
The location is superb. Only several minutes walk to red square. The bathroom is really nice and clean. The staff here are friendly and helpful. But the bed is not comfortable, at least for my case. Anyway, I’ll stay here again if I go to Moscow.

The Hostel is absolutely great. The people are nice and it has a warm ambiance. However I do think the overall feeling of the hostel is being suppressed because the free wifi is far from optimal. Many people bring their computers but have trouble connecting, like me, refusing them to stay connected with friends and family abroad.

Das Hostel ist sehr empfehlenswert, fast direkt im Stadtzentrum, freundliches, immer hilfsbereites Personal und im Gemeinschaftsraum findet man jeden Abend interessante Leute. Ich werde auf jeden fall im Sommer wieder kommen.

Almost all the staff was pretty friendly and helpful. Very clean bathrooms and rooms but if hostel gets packed it can get a little less comfortable cuz the shower room is just one for everybody. Awesome location. Not far from all the sights and close to subway. Free internet! Nice cosy beds with nice linen. I liked it very much!

It was really nice to stay there, staff is nice and does its job properly. People had a lot of fun, both, guests and personnel.. It’s pretty clean, wifi is definitely a great option, though computer fans are very noisy.
Good luck with holding the hostel, hope to drop there again once.
Very convenient place, the affable personnel and the small prices for Moscow. Cleanliness and a cosiness. Though the signboard is not present, to find simply. Highly I recommend and not only sociable youth. I wish to hold a high level and successes!

Really great Hostel, had high expectations given other Hostelworld Reviews, and they were met. Staff superfriendly and helpful (better than any previous hostel staff experience I’ve had!!) Highly recommendable!!

Was very pleased with the hostel, was in an amazing location, all newly kitted out and an amazing bathroom! Staff very friendly and laid back.
This is a very nice hostel. It has a great location, close to the center, and next to shops, stores, and the metro. For the price it’s really nice. It just barely opened not long ago, but the staff is very capable. They even do registration, which can often be a hassle. This hostel is brand new, so it’s extremely clean. Furnishings are from Ikea — so it’s a pleasant atmosphere and a good night’s sleep. It is walking distance to the Kremlin, less than 5 minutes to the subway and one block from Arbat Street. It has a kitchen so you can cook, a dishwasher for easy clean-up and a washing machine — great since I’d been on the road for about two weeks. It also had tons of hot water. Even when I was the 10th person to shower, it was still piping hot. Downsides are: a lack of maps (be sure to bring/buy your own until the staff gets up to speed), fluctuating occupancy (sometimes there were lots of other people, other times not, which could be a problem if you were traveling solo and looking for a party).
